Rising Freshman (Class of 2024)

8th Grade Canal Winchester Middle School Visit

Mornings of Feb 4, 5 & 6th
High School Counselors will meet with 8th grade teams in the morning to present information about scheduling for high school courses based on student’s future goals. Students will have the opportunity to learn about graduation requirements and ask any questions of both school counselors as well as current high school students.
February 7-14 – Rising freshman share their scheduling sheet with teachers and parents/guardians to discuss course request options
Rising Freshman Parent Scheduling Meeting
Wednesday, February 12th (6:30 p.m.) @ High School Cafeteria
This is an opportunity for parents/guardians to familiarize themselves with the Ohio high school graduation requirements for their incoming freshman, College Credit Plus, and how scheduling will take place for the upcoming year.
Scheduling Sheets and Entering Course Requests
After students talk to parents and teachers, they will make their final course requests on their scheduling sheet and return it to their middle school counselor by Friday, Feb. 14. Students will enter course requests directly into PowerSchool in their Middle School Connection Class the week of Feb. 24.
